So, I was curious to who here might be getting this. I have signed up for invite but have not received one yet. I told family that with this and Netflix I am going to cancel cable and we will be using Hulu and Netflix to watch our shows. I am also going to get a HD Antenna for local Over the air stations. I figure I willl save 50.00 bucks a month doin this. Anyone else thinking of doin the same?

My TV is Hulu Capable, But i did see that for the PS3. That stinks you have to pay for both, but you have to have Gold for live as well I read.

It's coming out for the 360 early next year also. No word if there's going to be a charge for it or not.
But you're right Zero, after I read that's coming to the 360, I started thinking about canceling the cable also.

Yes, It is 9.99 month for more back episodes of current TV Shows. But if I take off cable instead of 50.00 I would save, it would be 120.00 my wife informed me. I am still waiting for an invite, I have netflix as well and a DVD Ripper so even some of the USA network shows I watch ala Burn Notice which is awesome imo. I will just get the season DVD's and watch them that way. I never once watched an episode of Sopranos on HBO but I have seen every episode off DVD. I will let you guys no how it works if and when I am able to use Hulu plus. But if you get it you can use it on 360, PS3, or TV or whatever. You just have to sigh in. So it's just 9.99 for all the sources that you can use.

You know, I got to thinking...lol. I wonder if this will make the cable companies open their eyes and start offering a la cart packages? Seriously, how many of us pay waaaaaaay more than we need to and have too many channels that we DON'T watch?
I know Time Warner is really bad for this. They'll put 2 or 3 really popular channels in a package, lump them with 20 other crap ones you will never watch, and then charge out the nose for you to get it. So now you have to pay a lot for 2 or 3 channels you really want, and they justify the price by saying" But look at all the channels you're getting in this package!".

OK I am in. Some of the first things I have noticed.
1. Not all the Show I watch are there. 2. Some of the Anime I watch is dubbed, But not showing subtitles. 3. The picture Quality is really good. HD looks , well HD. 4. Don't know if it is Logitech remote or Hulu but remote buttons lag a bit.
Overall I am quite pleased with it. I was really impressed with the Office looked like it was a feed from Thursday night NBC. I just got it yesterday I am gonna look to see if I have to enable subtitles or something to get it to show up. I will let you guys no more when I spend a little bit more time with it.

Fuck cable. Who ever said that the cable companies will need to re-package their shit was right. The future of TV will be strictly online, and as soon as they figure out to increase the bandwitdh, HD will be the norm. As for pricing, they are either gonna charge you extra if you download too much or just lump the internet in with the cable TV.
