Who would be interested in this? I know it kills me to trade in games at EB or Gamestop, cuz they give you $15 for a game and turn around and sell it for $40.
Just thought I would throw this out there and see who all would be interested in it.

That's what I was thinking. Right now, I don't have any games to trade, but it would be nice to know for future reference. I would rather trade with someone I know on here, who I know will enjoy a game, then trade it in for a ridiculously low amount.
I'll start a thread here soon that we will need to update regularly with games we are all willing to trade.

Since it seems some, if not most, of us don't have games to trade, who is up to trading AND/OR selling? If we sold them to each other for, say, $10 less than they sell the games used at EB/GameStop, I think it would still be useful. Any opinions?
We would still be helping each other out, screwing EB, and getting better use out of our old games. Jackson also brought up a good point. How do we base the trades?
For example, do you trade an old game, like Gears 1, straight up for a new game like Fallout 3? Do we use the used games value from EB?
Need some opinions from EVERYONE to get this rolling. We're all adults here, and have known each other for almost 6 years now (Socom came out in 2002!). I know we only know each other mostly through the games we play and these forums, but I think we are all trustworthy and are out to have fun with games and not screw each other over. So if we proceed with this, lets try to be as honest as possible about the condition of the games too. I know my games LIVE in their cases when not being played. But I have known of friends whose games look like they used them for frisbees or coasters, so let's try not to trade games like that....lol.

I Think it's ok, but I like most of the games I buy so I'd actually like them back, I lend them before selling.

Lend them? So when I said "trade", that isn't a permanent thing? Cuz shipping back and forth could get expensive quick!

No, lending is another option on the table. The trade thing is still viable.
