Let's go into a little detail here too. Like how long you've worked for that company, etc.
I work for ABX Air/DHL (for now, getting laid off in the next year). Been there 11 years as a load master. I unload/load freight onto airplanes. 727's, 767's, DC-8's and 9's to be exact. Job title requires me to make sure that the plane is, to put it in layman's terms, not too nose or tail heavy, or too heavy left to right, or vice versa. Also have to make sure that the gazzillion different weight limits aren't exceeded.
Overall, I really like my job. Just really really hate the company I work for.

Well since I don't have a job now(Student) I will tell ya about my last job. I worked at a Wal-Mart Grocery Distribution Center. For those of you that do not know, a distribution center is where they recieve all the freight and then ship it to the regular stores. It saves money some howin the long run. Anyways, I was a Quality Control Inspector. There are only about 6 in the entire building of about 600-700 associates. And what we did was inspect all of the meat and produce that came in our building. We had Wal-Mart specifications guidelines and also used USDA guidelines. We were basically responsible for making sure everything that comes through the building was not "bad" product. Making sure it was up to Wal-Mart and USDA standards. We had to eat just about everything that came through the building except the meats. We just looked at them to make sure they had the correct fat trim and correct size and so on.If we rejected the product they would load it all back on the truck and we would have to call the supplier and tell them the reason behind it and so on. They could eaither accept that we rejected it or they could call a "Federal Inspector". It cost them money to call the feds though and even if they did we was overturned maybe 2 times the entire time I was there. I worked with Wal-Mart for a little over 7 years. It was probally the coolest job I will ever get to do. Pay wasn't to bad but decided to go to school and make some real money.

I am currently a pharmaceutical sales specialist with Astrazeneca. What I do is sell pharmacueticals to hospitals and specialty physicians such as gastroentrologists, otolaryngologists, pulmonologists, immuniologists, etc... I essentially, educate physicans on my products, how they work, how they are metabolized, and every little thing in between. My job is alright, I am just not to happy with the company I work with. The bigger the company the bigger the headache. The pay is great, but I travel alot, and I mean alot. When I am not traveling, I work with alot of hospitals in NYC and Brooklyn NY. Been in this industry for 5 years, but before this, I was in advertising for 9 years. Been thinking about returning back to school to get my masters like Killa P, but I am a tad bit on the lazy side.

My name is Bunk and I am an alcoholic. LOL
I work for the NYC Department of Health and am a Senior Citrix Engineer (Certified IT Administrator) and VMWare Support Technician. I am in charge of making sure that all of our Citrix servers(services) are available to our many users which include Hospitals, Rikers Island (Jail) Facilities, Mental Health Providers, Ealry Intervention Services (Infant-Child services), and STD (yes, sexually transmitted Disease) clinical facilities.
As you know the health department has very widespread services. I like to consider myself one of the dedicated members of my group who help keep that fabric tightknit. I love working with the folks here (Yardi ) is one of them and i like the way we are allowed to horse around at work sometimes ( sometimes we would have Unreal tournaments). I have been working for the city for almost 11 years and there are some days i do regret staying here as long as i did but I find that i was one of the blessed here as I have gotten many promotions over the years while I have seen some others stay behind with no pot to piss in.
I have thought of going back to school but after seeing some of the questions posted in this forum regarding code I quit before i started and am damm lazy and especially now even more since I commute almost 5 hours a day. (2 hours and 30 minutes each way). My interests are video games but I find myself enjoying them watching my son playing for me as I am sometimes working from home and am forced to watch him play( he's 10 and can whup some ass in halo3).
