For those of you who seen it, what did you think ?
I thought it was a good speech myself.

Bush will go down as one of the worst Presidents we have ever had in the office. He will definitely be in the top 3 but I truly feel he will be considered the worst when it is all said and done.

Your kidding right? This is the same man that lied so much about Iraq that we the gullible shmuck believed were were going to be attacked by iraq's wmd if we didn't stop him. WHere are they? Where are the nukes and chemical bombs and anthrax and shit. We commited to this fucking war because we were following a president into battle we believed truthful. Instead my cousin is in Iraq on his third tour after 6 months of being in a mental hospital. You do not want me to tell you his stories. I just feel bad for the people in the truck he collided into head on in Georgia because he thought they were insurgents who were going to kill him..
The man is taking , stealing and borrowing money to pay for this war and we are paying for it and so will our children. But Cheney's company isn''t going broke, they got a trillion dollar + contract to basically rob our troops of what they need. Aren't they also being investigated for lying about the services they were providing to us and charging double ever triple?
Should I continue?

I think so. I have friends that are there now and have gotten sent home because of roadside bombs. One of my good friends cannot hear because a grenade went off right beside him. But all I can honestly say is if you sign up for the army dont expect free ride. That is what your signing up for. Nobody forces you to sign up to join the military. If your not up for it then dont sign up for it. That why I am sitting at home because I know I cant handle going over there and dealing with the crqazy shit they have to deal with. But why sign up for it ? You know your going over there having to fight. I wish he would send all our troops home but thats not going to happen. And if he did wouldnt you feel like it was a waiste of our countries lives ? To start something and not finish it? I really wish he would send them home but who knows what will happen.

It's pretty easy to sit back and say we need to finish what we started. Well, here's a wakeup call fellas. Most of the KIDS, (and let's all be honest, that's what they are) join because they are impoverished and they swallow the lines of shit that recruiters tell them. They think, hey, I can go to college on the Army's dime. Hey, I get medical insurance, and I get to choose what I do! Sounds good to me. They weren't thinking that 1 or 2 years after signing they were going to be fighting Bush's war of lies. So it is pretty easy for us to go to our 9-5's, spend time with our families, and play video games and say, Hey, we need to finish what we started. Too bad I'm not man enough to help you. If we REALLY felt we needed to finish it, we would volunteer our services.

I am not the guy who will just bash the government to bash the government. Politics are not easy and you have to sell your soul to become elected. And no man or women is perfect and they will all fuck up from time to time. But with all that said I agree 100% with Bunk and Reagan. Bush truly sucks and is just simply a bad president. Lies, has bad policies, and is flat out not a smart man. Shame on us for electing him not once but twice. EVEN hardcore republican/conservatives would be hard press to say Bush did more good than bad. HE SUCKS! People say the devil you know is better than the devil you don't; well ya know what BOYS bring on the devil I don't know. The next, man or women, cannot possible be worse than Bush.

ummm......I wouldn't say that's true bunk, didn't 9/11 get planned and partially implemented while he was in office? What about Somalia? Every leader makes bad choices, it's just part of the job. If the president could make the right choice everytime the world would be a better place then it is today. I'm not saying I agree with how he's run the office but we put him there, just need to make a more informed decision come election time, of course once that person gets into office we'll be right back here complaining. Like we used to say in the army, "if you're not bitching, you aren't happy!"

Number one, there isn't a president ever put in office that could have stopped 9/11. Sorry, that's just my belief. They would have done it somehow. Number 2, we didn't elect bush into office. He just crashed his way into office. He stole that shit.

You say when Clinton was President all you had to worry about was bj's. Did you know most of the men and women in jail at FT.Leavenworth on base not the prison next to it are in there for adultry. The way the Army looks at it, is if you can break that bond and cheat, you could easily trade secrets to another country. And the penalty is doin time.I delivered there for Fed Ex. I had to go there everyday I shit when the Sgt. there told me that. So in some regards what Clinton did was even worse as our Chief. But a Pres. can't go to jail. Just a tid bit there.
I must say as a voter, I almost always vote Rep.in Fed. positions. In the state elections is more mixed. I was a small businessman for almost 10 years, so I voted for the party that would help me out the most. But I must say Bush has done a below par job. I don't think he lied but was misinformed and now we just can't leave, we have to finish the fight. But I am not saying he deserves a break for being misinformed, he should have been more thorough. And in my eye's that mistake will make him one of the worst Pres. in our history.
And politicians get rich all the time going into politics, they don't get rich off there salary. The pres. makes about 250,000 a year. Would you do it for that much money? Like one of you said politics is ugly. Our beloved Gov. just legalized scalping tickets, guess who opened the first store to do that in Mo., his fuckin brother! After I supported a 400.00 property tax hike to renovate Arrowhead and Royals Stadium, and help pay for the New Sprint Center. Now I will never be able to affor to go that SOB. And guess what he decided not to run for a second term. He'll prob. be working with his Brother raping people over ticket prices.FUCK! Everytime I think about it, it F'N drives me nut's! Politics is UGLY and I think we should keep politics and gaming seperate. People are to passionate and some not passionate enough. And I would like to keep our harmonious gaming spirit intact.

Let me just point this out and then I'll gracefully back out of this conversation..... 1. Clinton was in office while the information age bubble was building and the economy was benefitting from it. 2. After the bubble burst we seen 2 major companies file for bankruptcy (enron and worldcom) because they falsely reported their earnings during this bubble which also helped the economy, which in turn made clinton look good. 3. Bush came into office after the bubble had started to burst and company after company had to start restating their earnings. Which in turn started to make the economy suffer. Now I agree with everyone that bush does suck as far as Iraq and being an international statesman, clinton was a better president as far as relations with other countries go, but that's about it. He just happened to be in office at the right time, the 90's was a golden era that we probably won't see again for a long time.
