From what I hear it's going to kick the 360's ass because of this Blu Ray deal. That's what all these forums are saying. One guy actually said," The only reason the 360 is doing better is because of all the software". Of course he was flamed to a crisp. I couldn't believe it. The guy who started the thread was like, thanks kid. That helped me out alot.

what makes me laugh is that we are talking about video game consoles. if the PS3 sells more cuz of movies what is the world coming to. these are first game playing consoles, then movie machines. if i buy a video game console, i am buying it to play games. if i want a movie player i will buy one of those. fuck the fanboys in the argument. they just need to grasp for something, cuz no one is buying the PS3 for games. plus also...all MS has to do is release a Bluray add-on.

i seriously don't see MS putting out a Blu-Ray add on. Don't see Gates and company wanting to give Sony ANY royalties at all. That's kind of like saying "hey, your hardware/software/format idea was way better than ours. Can we give you, our rival in the console industry, money to use it?" Just don't see it.
But then again, if putting out a BR add on will keep people from jumping ship, it may be worth it to them in the long run.

MS was just a supporter of HD DVD this is where all the confusion is coming from. MS didn't come up with HD DVD, that is Toshiba's baby. Just like Panasonic making Blu Ray players, they chose to back Sony's format. MS Hardware is 360 and there games are of the DVD format. Which could be a prob. with games in the future. But people think just because a Blu Ray disc can hold 50 gb they all do, they don't not yet. And the PS3 will never be able to handle 50 gb of info coming at it, only bits of it. The Blu Ray format might lure some people on the fence to go with PS3 because of it, but people who want to play games, and who are able to see past that will still choose 360. But my main point is MS was only a supporter, if they would have had a HD DVD player in the 360 from the beginning and Blu Ray won, then MS would be in a world of hurt and not switch to BR. But even b4 this Warner stuff, MS said we could do a Blu Ray add on, if that's what the consumer chooses. Remember Sony Computers run Vista and so do there smart phones. That part is just business.
